Hi BPC Friends

I am trying to add a new property to a dimension in Production but I got the following error:

where could I find more information about this error?

It works in DEV and QUA but not in PROD.

Could be something related to the authorization?

Hi Michele,

It's possible the dimension or underlying InfoObject is corrupt. Can you run the program UJA_DATA_CHECKER in transaction code SE38 to see if there are any errors returned?

What version of BPC (10 / 10.1) and what service packs of BPC and BW are you on?

Normally the BASIS people as per the standard guidelines keep the BPC namespaces as "Not Modifiable" for QA and Prod via t-code SE06 to make no direct changes in the system! Check if this is the case.....

with the SE06 I can't see anything just the below

but with the SCC4

I can see that the system is closed, but also Q is closed and I can add the properties

Is the problem with only one dimension or all? Is PROD modifiable??? Why not use Transport instaed of editing direct in Prod???

I have the problem also with others dimensions.

What do you mean saying: is Prod modifiable? I change script logic, add new member and so on directly in Prod.

Yes I will use the transport system but I would like to understand why I got that error
