link between Look-up CHiP and a POWL

Hi experts,

I am practicing the Page Builder and I try to create a page with a Lookup and a POWL linked between them

I have the lookup and I have the POWL; when I click the lookup open the POWL in a work area but, I can not related them, how can do it?

Hi Victor

I faced a similar problem as you and found a solution by embedding the POWL into a web dynpro: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-50030.

Other than you I don't work with the Page Builder, I just add a sidepanel to the POWL. But you may grasp some ideas how to get the Tag out of the POWL for wiring.

Hello,

Did you resolved you issue ?

Here some idea :

• Use the Tagging system to link fields
  • EDIT : I managed to link them by creating a tag on the POWL fields and then manually wire the target chip with the Tagging outport tags.
    The only problem is the tags are not saved with the page configuration. So, for now, you'll have to wire it at each execution.
    By the way, you're target chip must have inports (I used standards Cost center masterdata POWL and Display chips).
    
    
• Configure inports if you have develop your own POWL Webdynpro

By the way, i am creating a new thread about the standard POWL Chip category. When i create a new POWL chip, it displays only a blank area ... whatever the parameters. If you have any idea as well ...
