Difference in function or role with a Super User vs Professional user

Former Member

I have looked a the documents that are provided by SAP B1 about Overview SAP Business One License Types and License Guide . I have not found any information on the role of a super user where it is documented . The reason i ask is the auditors would like to see the difference between a professional user and super user . Is there a document which lists the roles and functions of a Super User.

Hi Samuel Mhlanga...

Super User is the legally controller of SAP who has be default full authorization to whom we can say Professional user also.

To such user we assign Professional License which costs more.

Select this option to specify the user as a superuser.

A superuser:

  • Can access all windows and perform all functions in SAP Business One
  • Can limit the authorizations of users that are not superusers

Where as Professional user is a type of  license  which can access all the modules ...

Hope helpful

Regards

Kennedy

Hi,

Super user is assigned by SAP when the product is implemented in the company. The super user may be system administrator company.

Super user has full authorizations for all modules and has access to SAP Business customer portal.

But professional user has not fully authorized all module.

Hope helpful.

Thanks & Regards,
