MIRO & 'Asset values': Is it possible?

Hello to everyone,

We would like to post an invoice to an asset through MIRO and post the amount only in area '01'. This is possible if you post the invoice through FB01, as there is a button called 'Asset values' where you select which areas areas of the assets are maintained. However, such a button doesn't exist in MIRO.

Is it possible to add this button to MIRO through customization? If not, is there any other way to post an invoice through MIRO and have only area '01' of the asset be affected?

Dear Chris,

MIRO doesn't allow any direct postings of Assets & no other radio / check box enter posting key to enter asset number. If asset number not accepted ,how system accepts ,depreciation area. Hope you understand the same.

If you are using other depreciation area's with non leading concept ,you can use FB01L transaction code where you can debit to asset and credit to vendor with respect to ledgers.

Usually asset values are posted from MIGO and not MIRO. so try giving all area info in PO so that the entries correctly posted during MIGO.
