Can we pass user id when passing Data from an external system to SAP via IDOCs?

Hi,

When information is transferred from external non-sap system TO SAP interface to perform a transaction what user name is attributed to it? Can we send the user name across on the IDOC to maintain the standard SAP control functions in terms of access rights?

Any idea?
