Filter by member from prompt screen

We have installed AO 1.4 and the filter by member functionality and performance is still not there as compared to Bex.  There is no exclusion functionality, contains pattern etc. If you select a lot of members through the filter by member the query perfromance is very slow as compared Bex 3.5/7.0

I have entered on the idea place to resolve these issues but there is no feedback.  Is there any plans on when this functionality will be added?

Are there notes to be applied that will help performance?

I would recommend you to take a look at following SAP Notes:

- Performance notes relevant for Analysis Office 1.3 SP4

- Performance notes relevant for Analysis Office 1.3 SP6

- Performance notes relevant for Analysis Office using BW 7.01

We got very positive feedback from customers who applied those notes.

If the previous notes didn't help, you could also take a look at (in 1.4 you do not have to set the registry key to use it, it is enabled by default):

I have not heard timeframes on the contains pattern; I thought I heard at BI 2013 or last month at conference it was being looked at

For performance issues I recommend submitting a support ticket as we heard last month 1.4 was intended to help performance.
