RCA & IT Performance Reporting

Hi,

We are using solution manager 7.1 SP04. I have completed the managed system configuration for the managed systems.

I am not getting the exception analysis details in the RCA.

Also I have to do the IT Performance reporting, but many graphs are missing for the managed systesm (Like systems availability graph, exception analysis).

All the managed systems are netweaver 7.3 or ehp2 for sap netweaver7.0.

Hi Neha

have you checked the ccms_BI_SETUP job ...schedule it and run again

also you need to check the extractor framework in solution manager administration workcenter

you will definately find many no of jobs getting failed due to issue unles you get this resolved data won't appear for ur remote systems

e.g check this note

SAP note 1435043  E2E Workload Analysis - No applicable data found

it wil ask you do many task required and assign authorization roles missing for standard framework user

Key message here is unless you have the extractor framework data puling from remote system can't fill the infocubes and then there you see empty charts

hope this all helps because i have seen this as common issue

Hi,

system availability comes from ccmsping, have you done so??

for exceptions data missing, use the note  Note 1400814 - Self checks for IT performance reporting

because in RCA, there might be lots of reason for the error, "No applicable data found"

if the error only on exception management, make sure you executed the corresponding exception management task in solman_Setup -> managed system configuration-> step 8-> configure manually

Enable exception management?

Hi Jansi,

We are using the host agents for monitoring.

In transaction RZ21->Topology->CCMSPingAgents->Agent for the remote sap system-> test connection is successful for the satellite systems.

SAP note 1400814 is not relevant for our system.

All the steps of managed system configuration have been performed.

I have also checked the agent status, they are connected to solman and running fine.
