We are implementing incident management in SolMan 7.1 SP04. I want to replace the SAP standard component list, which gets populated on component field, with our own custom defined component list, during the creation of an incident.
If we choose 'Menu --> Help --> Create Support message, and press F4 help for 'Components', we need to bring up our custom components the F4 help value list.
This is required to have lower maintenance and master data prep and to rationalize the component list at high level only like MM, FI, SD, CO, PM, BC, etc.. I know we can overwrite the default components populated but we need to defined fixed list which will be followed by all business users so want to have system control.
Please advice how this can be achieved?
