Alternate item in bom during scheduling lines

Hi All experts,

I have created bom for sfg material having components raw1 and raw2 (1:1 ratio). For making of sfg material either raw1 use or raw2 use. I have assigned alternate item group A1, priority 1, strategy 2 (100% check), Usage probability 100% for 1st raw1 material and alternate item group A1, priority 2, strategy 2 (100% check), Usage probability 100% for 2nd raw2 material. My object is system should considered stock of 1st raw1 material and if stock is not available then system should be considered 2nd raw2 material.

Now in our case both raw1 and raw2 stocks are zero and I am creating schedule lines in scheduling agreement for sfg material. When I am giving the schedule qty eg. 500 qty for sfg material in schdule lines ( t code ME38), now I am click on item button (menu bar) --components overview, system shows 500 qty of raw1 and 500 qty of raw2.

But as per standard, system should displayed only 500 qty of raw1, then why this is not happened?

Please focus on this issue, any changes is require or what setting is require.

Hi,

Keep only Usage probability as 0% or blank for 2nd raw material (raw2) and rest remain as it is.

Test the results.
