Problem in Dropdown Fields of Create Requisition Request Form in MSS ?

Hello Experts ,

I have prolem in create Requsition Request form In MSS :

My Problem is : There are 3 buttons in that form , Select Requisition Template, Select Position, Select Branch .

I am able to enter in all input fields and dropdown fields initially .

But once i click on any of the SELECT Button , then i can't click any of the Dropdowns provided like Functional Areas, Education Type,Industry,etc .

I have to close that form and restart it again in order to select or click any dropdown .

Why this behaviour   ?

Below are the details of the Scenario i am using :

I am on EHP4 SP4 .

Is there any sap Note for the same problem or any java script missing , what could be the possible solution for it ?

Pls, Experts help me out, this problem is a real pain  .

Even for the Workflow 45600028, I amm getting random approver .

And in the UWL of that Approver, I am getting task as : "NO Employee assigned : Requisition Request " .

task TS17900001 , it was assigned as WEBDYNPRO JAVA task in SWFVISU .

So i changed into WEBDYNPRO ABAP , and other necessary parameters .

SO , yes i am able to process Workitem .

But not getting why it is coming : " NO Employee assigned : Requisition Request " .

Hi guys,

Apart from this problem, I am having inconsistent data in Select Position .

Its OADP Component .

It should provide only vacant positions under that Manager .

But it is providing both vacant and and assigned position , plus vacant from column is blank .

Is it due to some inconsistency in Org structure or is it due to some inconsistency in SWITCH .

And pls confirm about Dropdown problems that weather i need to upgrade SP Level or not .

Hi Pankaj

Which browser/version are you using? I have experienced a problem, where dropdowns did not work at all in Firefox on EHP4.

If it is indeed browser related then you can try and search through SAP's Unified Rendering notes, which deal with browsers/versions that are not officially supported, but generally should work.

I don't know about the "No Employee Assigned" error, the only thing I can think of is if it checks for a manager or a recruiter to be assigned.

I have tried it on both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer

Google Chrome version :- Version 27.0.1453.110

Internet Explorer version : 9

even i tried with compatibiliy mode here with IE7,IE8 .

well, let me check SAP notes regarding this , but in the meantime if u know exact note, then pls let me know .

"No Employee assigned" .

Actully, In workflow : 45600028 there is task :17900101 ,

In swfvisu, it was assigned as Webdynpro java  and WDjava application was assigned in parameter .

And that task was resulting in Dump .

So, i changed into WD ABAP and Application - asr_process_execute .

Now workflow is working, even approval request is going to higher manager and task is also working.

I am able to approve, reject, back to processor .

But Why the Task item is Showing " No employee assigned " , it is standard workflow .

this is what i am not getting .

Hi Pankaj

I am not very proficient with workflows, so I cannot help you with that.

About the UI notes there are lots and lots of them. In our case the problem was actually solved, because we are currently upgrading to EHP6, so I cannot say which note helped us specifically.

Another option would be to simply install all the UI notes available to you, but this can also be risky. We have done that once only on EHP4 and thorough testing should be done. I was advised that it is possible that things which used to work could suddenly stop working.

So it is best to identify if there is a specific note for your problem.

Try and do a search for notes with "unified rendering drop down".

It appears the issue you are facing is same at http://scn.sap.com/thread/3377519

I suspect this could be due to errors in WDA redering.

There are notes like  1662900 - for rendering WDA.

Please search for any such missing SAP notes

Thanx for replying .

I checked that thread .

There u mentioned, to insert Webdynpro Script .

But where ?

I went to layout click on Select buttons and then choose that INSERT WEBDYNPRO SCRIPTS .

But it is allowing to change me layout of Form thats it  and if i hit othr button it just gave an ERROR MESSAGE " ERROR WHEN INSERTING WEBDYNPRO SCRIPT " .

What is the cause of it ?

And I want to know the Code for that Script as there should be some .

Did u faced this problem ?

Even i have tried with Internet Explorer7 , 8, 9 all , but same problems .

Is it Product Error ?

Please help me, Its getting too late. Please provide me Exact Solution .

Hi Pankaj,

If you are implementing EREC in a stand alone scenario, you can check the values in T5UA0 which determines the "Logical System for RFC connection with ERecruiting". If this is not maintained correctly, there is a possibility that the Values from EREC system will not be read properly in the MSS requisition form.

I am using Integrated Scenario . The main Problem is BUTTONS .

Why the Dropdowns stuck when i hit any of the Buttons ? This is Standard Form, why it is behaving like this ?

Well i am in Search of SAP NOTES as suggested by SAHIR AND AAGE .

If u know exact solution of it, Pls let me know .This problem is getting pain for me...

Hi Pankaj,

You have reported 2 issues here:

Issue 1. Values helps not working after you open any poup.

I guess you have resolved this issue by searching for SAP's Unified Rendering notes.

Right?

If not , just to all a little more info:

I have seen issues of this kind where after a popup window is rendered - the other fields become uneditable. To fix this WD ABAP team from SAP released notes like 1415766.

Please check for missing notes based on system SAP_BASIS release.

If you are not able to find the missing notes on your own or if you are very sure everything is in place , I suggest raising an OSS with SAP would be the best option.

Issue 2: In UWL task description is : "NO Employee assigned : Requisition Request "

The UWL text comes from task definition of ts17900101. From the workflow log please check if STEP_OBJECT has correct values and debug it further from there.

But one thing to note is before getting started with using the Requisition form the process object should be set up.

Hi Sahir,

Still looking for that exact SAP Unified Rendring Note which can solve this problem .

And even We have raised OSS to SAP, and its strange that they are not able to reply till .

And as i saw few notes they suggest to have change in Support Packages .

Is it also have to do something with SP LEVEL ?

I am using SP4 for ERECRUIT  SAPK-60404INERECRUI.

SAP BASIS SP5 .

The Second issue related to UWL is solved .

Hi Pankaj,

We are also facing the same issue:

1. The task description is "No Employee Assigned: Requisition Request".

2. When the manager clicks on the workitem it shows a screen with message "Service not available Error 404 not found".

We are also using the same workflow WS45600028.

Could you please tell me how did you manage to resolve the issues.

Its been long time ago, when we worked on this issue.

Can u tell me , SFWVISU status for this task?

Also, check if workflow WS45600028 is working perfectly .
