Priveledge Leave C/F to Next Years

Hi,

I am having a requirement of PL C/F to Next years.

Presently the no. of PL's per annum is 17 apart from other leave types.  Only PL will be C/F to next year, the below is the logic for C/F. The Quota Accrual is happening on Pro-Rata Basis and the accrual is on Daily.

Condition1: As per the Table

Condition 2: If an employee has worked less than 6 months(Joined on/after 01.07.2013) the entire quota accrued for PL needs to be carry forward to next year.

Condition 3: Leave Encashment  Gross Salary of the particular month/no. of working days*no. of PL's to be encashed as per the logic listed above.

Request for the help in writing the rules for the above.

Hi Shobha,

How you are doing the carry forward of the leaves., Are you doing it through PCR are with Config.

It would be better if you write an rule and attach the same with your PCR becuse you have two condition, 1 first year 12 leaves and from next year 17 leave.

Hi Abhay,

I started with rule, but my rule is not working. Thats why i have raised it in the Forum.. I need help in writing the rule.

It is not only 2 conditions, but one more condition is if an employee joins on/after july then the PL quota accrued should get C/F as it is.

Dear Shobha,

Do you have different rule for all the plants or is it same for all the plants.

Please define the condition in your rule where you comapair month greater than equal to july then define the carry forard to next year.

Hi Abhay,

It is similar across the Organization.  Same rule can be worked out.  But here i am not able to write a rule for the logic given above, so i was seeking for the help in writing a rule.

Is the Lapse and encashment limit is fixed ?

Year to year it changes ??

Hi Rajasekhar,

Lapsable Leaves are fixed.  Every year PL's accrued 17 and 5 will be lapsable. 

In the first year only 12 leaves will be C/F

For the remaining years 17 Leaves will be C/F to next year and the remaining balance will be encashed.

To check the quota balances is greater than 5  and lapse 5 days of quotas and carry-forward remaining quotas balances to the next year using time type 9000
