Dear contributors, I’m pretty new on DMS and I need to understand with is the best “product” and architecture to manage DMS under the following constraints

  1. SAP system in in site A, DMS is needed in site B, SAP system and DMS are not linked with a Lan but only thru a very militated internal network.
  2. Documents that need to be included into the DMS belong to Quality processes (photos and defects), Inventory (good entry) , accounting (Invoices), Procurement (PRq, PO, Contracts etc.....

My questions are:

  1. Which is the best way to achieve the goal and with which SAP products? (kpro?....).
  2. Do I need the content server? why?
  3. Do I have to buy a separate licence?

Thanks for you valuable help
