HANA studio error, Repository not properly created

Former Member

I Download the 64 bit version for windows in both the HANA studio and HANA client.

I created a logon in the navigator successfully with the green light but only the catalog and security folders are there. The content folders are missing. What course this issue?

If i continue to the repository, i get the error that the repository is not properly created.

I also looked at comments and file paths where to locate the file but I do not see the same directories. I do find the regi.exe file in my HANA client directory. What courses all these issues.

I followed the directions as provided by Thomas in his presentations to create the client systems, that is very basic.

I need help to get this set-up, since i do not HANA

Thanks

Marlene

Hi Marlene,

I guess you are following the current openSAP course Introduction to Software Development on SAP HANA, aren't you? In that case please refer to the forum offered especially for that course.

Otherwise please refer to http://www.saphana.com since this forum here is about SAP HANA Cloud Platform and not specifically for questions around the SAP HANA Database.

Best Regards,

Bernd

Hi Marlene,

The content folders are missing because you do not have the rights to view them.  To view this folders you need to have the content_admin roles assigned to your user.

Looks like the client was not installed properly, this is my assumption. You can find the regi.exe file when you installed the client.
