I have run SPAM from 000 client

( Import of queue for the :

Software Component: SAP_BASIS

SPAM status: (Error stop)

Import phase: IMPORT_OBJECT_LIST )

I have performed the steps below also

stop SPAM .

Check TP or R3trans is active at OS level or not.

Check the latest SLOG file from \usr\sap\trans\log.

If no process for TP and R3trans and table TRJOB is empty then check content of table TRBAT if any entry exists delete it.

Then execute report (se38) RSTPTEST,

Ensure that all checks finishes fine (with a green sign)

Repeat SPAM

If still problem persists then do following

Stop SPAM.

Kill TP and R3trans.

On command prompt change your working directory to sap kernel folder

Now execute following

TP CLEANBUFFER SID pf= <Drive:\>\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_SID.PFL

check the file systems is also ok, enough space available

I have performed the above steps as suggested some folks on forums

but again same issue it hangs at " tp buffer prepaid ok "

    Hi Shafeeq,

If your system runs on Oracle, following KBA might help you as there is a known bug.

1738989 - Upgrade/Support Package import hang due to INACTIVE wait

event "SQL*Net break/reset client" in Oracle

There is a known bug in the Oracle 11g. Please check SAP note 1635605.
You may need to set the following oracle initialization parameter,

    " _use_zero_copy_io=false"

    Regards,

    Aniket

    Hi Mohammed

Logon to client '000' of the Transport Domain Controller, and start T –code - STMS.

    1. Select Systems and select Connection Test (F5) this might indicate that RFCs

    are not working correctly.

    1. You can re-generate the RFC Connections -> Extras -> Generate RFC

    Destinations

    1. Select the system and then go to overview - system- Select the System(system you have issue)- go to Transport tool - Add the parameter 'system_pf=\\(SAP system name)\sapmnt\(SID)\SYS\profile\DEFAULT.PFL

And then start the import again where it was stooped

    Thanks

    Sriram
