BEx Reporting on Time dependent Navigational attributes (using Infoset)

Hello all,

We have built an infoset on top of two info cubes. Both cubes having time independent navigational attributes and time dependent navigational attributes and we can see time independent navigational attributes on infoset but not able to see time dependent navigational attributes in infoset.

In my current report requirement we are showing 0asset info object on report and business want's to see few additional objects like 0asset class, 0equalization group1 & 2 which are time dependent navigational attributes of an asset and we could not able to bring them in infoset.

Please note that we have turn on navigational attributes in both info cubes. Can any one help me on this please?

Hi,

You can add 0asset to infoset as a seperate characteristic and connect to infocubes.I think you can use those time dependent nav attributes by this method.

Hi Güneş,

I have added 0asset to info set as a separate characteristic and connected with remaining info cubes and I was able to activate time dependent navigational attributes which I require(0asset class, Equalization group 1 and 2) but the issue is coming on the report output the amounts of the key figures are triple. How can I avoid this? Please let me know?

Can you share the report output with the proper characteristic in plcae so that we can help you out in fulfilling your requirement.

Hi,

Navigational Attrs will not be available in the Infoset. Please try to make a query on this infoset and see whether you are able to get Nav Attrs in BEx.

You may try to use Time-dependent Nav Attrs it seems.
