Hi Nakula,

Ritesh this side.

Frnd i am planning to pursue SAP FICO Ceritification, but i am concerned about this course & jobs after getting certified as fresher in SAP.

Although i am CA Intermediate, CS Intermediate & completed my grad in B.Com Hons. in 2008. Have practicle experience of more than 5 years in part time accountancy, 3.5 yrs full time articleship in CA Firm & currently working as an accounts executive in Real Estate Company in Delhi.

Please advice me whether FICO Certification is suitable for me ? And how tough it is actualy ?

Hi

As per my personal view it will better, take experience as SAP FI support consultant in any company, they may give you only pocket money and the same time you may go for certification, which will give more benefits.

Hi

If you are commerce back ground, SAP FI will be good. To understand proper business requirement of any client and configured in SAP you should have knowledge finance & accounts. Otherwise you can't understand or test what you configured.

So commerce background will be necessary.

FOr a sap fi job you need to know the entire sales and procurement cycle by heart.

this includes the accounting entries

then you need to have conceptual clarity about the various fi structures such as a company code .

your best bet is in a manufacturing firm to get the feel for the module but thats my personal opinion,

the other thing you can do is go on job portals
