ERP 6.0 EHP6 for MOPZ

Hi all,

I have installed fresh EHP6 ERP 6.0 system in that central compnnest will be 606 other componnets under 600 level,Now I need to upgrade the other componnets 606 ,NOw I am in MOPZ transaction now I need to select Maintainece option or enhnacement installtion option.

One more point  I need to upgrade through Saint or sum ?

Please suggest its urgent for me

Hi,

You must select enhament package installation and check out all the release components that will upgrade.

Also you can use sum that is more clear process.

But if you prefer you can install the ehp throught saint with the xml of mopz.

Actually I have compared enahancement and maintainace options both are same stack levels are showing ,I have selected mainatennace option and stated downloading.

Is their any problem for mainatance option.

Please suggest

Then you need to change the technical use of your system editing the settings of your system to allow that MOPZ calculate the stack to upgrade the components to upgrade it to EHP.

See the screenshot to help you what i mean.

Hi all,

I have selected in MOPZ enhancemanet package option ,but now I am trying to run sum tool .xml is not accepting its showing error"

Error: Some of the archives defined in the stack configuration file were not found in the download directory.

I have cheked the log file its shwoing  :Remark: Some of the software features might be displayed in gray color. This indicates that they are not applicable because they belong to another host/SID. i

Please suggest any one

Hi,

Check the DEFINE-TARGET-SOURCE_XX.LOG in the ../SUM/sdt/log/SUM/ directory. Here you will find the list of the packages which are not present in the download directory. Download them and keep them in the download directory. Issue will be resolved.

Hello

Check whether processes for SUM tool are running at the OS level.

If yes then the problem could be with the connection from the local machine to the host where SUM is running.

You probably need to adapt the hosts file of the local machine to get through.
