Round off Te Key Figure in SAP BeX

Hello Experts,

I have one formula KF which is showing No of Boxes. After executing the query, decimal values are coming(as per calculations) in No of boxes. E.g. 0.23, 0.63, 1.25 etc.

My requirement is to show as :

No of Boxes Round-Off No of Boxes

0.23 1

0.63 1

1.25 2

The 'Round-oFF No of Boxes' should always show the high value.

How can i round-off the values in query designer as per the above requirement.

Thanks,

Abhimanyu Sharma

    Hi Abhimanyu,

The easiest way to achieve this would be to make use of the function CEIL or FLOOR in the formula.

CEIL will round off to the nearest whole number, for example if the value is 6.7 It'll be considered as 7, and in case of FLOOR if the value is 6.7 then it'll be considered as 6.

Please make use of these functions available under "Mathematical Functions" in a calculated key figure / formula to fulfill your requirement.

    Hope this helps, Good Luck.

    Regards,

    Manohar. D

    Hi Abhimanyu,

You can write a formula such as:

    TRUNC(No_of_boxes) + 1

Trunc always rounds to the less value.

    Hope it helps

Instead of using the formulas try setting the number of decimal values as 0... This is work for values more than half decimals...

    But i havent tried it...

    Thanks,

    Nithesh.
