How many of you that work around Solution Manager, found a lot of problem on the ewa setup for "JAVA" system ?

Maybe the 20 troubleshooting on sap notes need to be improve ?

I got a loot of information related to problems on that cain of ewa, but really is not clear at all.

Or maybe it's my personal Nightmare.

hi,

we also running Java only systems quite some numbers, I didnt apply any specific note with respect to Java only systems.

Even no special care taken for ewa activation, Just finished al steps in managed system configuration without red mark, my ewa pops up automatically.

I faced some issue on Host agent FQDN, but that is common even for ABAP,

Could you please give the list of notes, which you applied on Java only systems with respect to EWA.

This could help us to check further.

Hello Jansi,

The problem that we face is the missing data for java systems, stand-alone ones or double tasks like BW, PI, etc...

All notes that i told on the previous message is related for missing data troubleshooting, i actually has open a lot of support message for different issues, some related to smsy setup after remote system update, SMD diagnostic part and CCDB.

Now we are near to fix it trough help of sap ags collages, they are helping us a lot, on a huge managed system infrastructure.

The last action that do pass to fix rey rates is to update the ISAGENT to the las level as indicated on note "1793553 - Few metrics are being reported for node 'SAP Netweaver' in wily due to error "/wily/core/config/ext could not be located. No extensions will be loaded.""; that note is for 7.1 but is still available for ur solution mamager 701.

I'm really confuse for that, the instruction for java systems are not really clear.

Hi Luis,

This is regular patch for ISAGENT, its similar to LM SERVICE patch. this is not respect to 7.1.

hope you aware java components have patch level addition to sp level.

may i knw which part not clear in this note, unfortunately we dont hav such errors in our landscape.

you can go ahead, if you have the symptom mentioned in the note.
