Data Services InfoPackages process issues

We integrated two external systems through DI data services. Process chains developed for all the data services InfoPackage jobs. Process chain failing when source system is not returning any data time out.

Want to find with any body could able to resolve this issue?

We are trying to figure out there is a bug in the Data Services and BW integration with the scenario or there is any thing wrong.
