Regarding CMC Contract in SD-CS

Yes Your are right, through the va41 we can able to create cmc contract. And please explain me the CS process flow, and tell me what are the master data we find in the Customer Master data.

There is no separate master data created for CS

CS uses master data created by other modules such as

Customer master

Material Master

Work centers

Activity types

Cost centers

Specific to CS, Technical Objects are created such as

Equipment

Functional Location

BOM

Serial numbers

Thanks for your information i just want to know what and all we need to create in implementation like master data and preventive maintenance, we need to create any equipment.

I believe you are asking for AMC

there is no CMC in Standard CS

could you explaint what is CMC for better understanding?

Hi Vemuri,

CMC contract means components maintenance contract. In this cmc labour and spare parts charge free. And please help me to get the cs material because i am new to sap cs.

Hi,

You can create the components  contract in VA41 using MV contract type

1. Create contract in VA41

2. Create the Maintenance Plan in IP50 using contract

3. Maintenance Plan will automatically call the Notification or Service order based on Configuration
