Plant Parameters for MRP Area

Hi Team,

I am running my planning at MRP area level. But in the customizing transactions like OPPQ,OPL8, OPJK, OPU3, i can only mention the plant. I can not able to mention my "MRP Area" in those customizing transactions. If i maintain the those customizing transactions for the plant in stead of MRP Area, will my planning work correctly?

Note: In the F4 selection of these customizing transactions, i can not see the MRP area for selection

Thanks

    Hi,

You have to define MRP areas this can be defined as plant storage location or vendor and then you have to activate MRP for MRP area.

Then run MD02 with giving input in MRP area field.

    Please check and revert.

    Dear SK,

All the t-codes above mentioned except oppq are pertains to SFC control.

You need to Activate the MRP Area first. There are Three MRP Areas available basically:

    1.Plant

    2.Slocs in a plant

    3. Vendor

Need to configure required MRP Area type.

      Dear SK,

The thing is you want to watch a movie in the Last Row. But prior to that You should buy ticket for that right. Here Maintaining Plant Parameters is buying ticket only. Whether you run MRP Areas wise or with out MRP Area , or Consumption based planning any other is just selecting the ROW after entering in to the Screen.

      Hope it clarified.
