Error when trying to export Report Shipping Order: incorrect doument format (pfd)

Hello experts,

I want to export a MSDS report from the report information screen CG54 in pdf outside SAP.

When trying to export a Report Shipping Order (MSDS) from Report Management (CG54) I do see the shipping available in CVD1 with shipping reason EXP_CALL and communication type RML. However, shipping the order will fail due to error 'Order bundle: Incorrect document format (PDF) for order' and 'document format is not supported'.

Does anyone know what customizing or user-exit settings are required in order to be able to export the MSDS in pdf format?
