InfoObject 0HIERNODE is not available in Version A

Hello

I am new to SAP Security and am stuck on a issue.

End user is trying to run a report via BEx. After filling in all the mandatory field , when the user tries to enter the value in last mandt field , an error occurs .

the error shows "500 Internal Server Error" and the Root Cause is mentioned as "InfoObject 0HIERNODE is not available in Version A" 9Please see the attachment for error details.)

Also I checked in production system and do not see any infoobject 0HIERNODE . However i do see 0HIER_NODE present . Also i tried to run the report in Regression system with the same filed values and was able to execute it successfully . So it seems the report is fine.

So is this issue related to SAP Security or will the BASIS team be of help here.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks and Regards

Kunal

    Hi,

"InfoObject 0HIERNODE is not available in Version A". Actually, 0HIERNODE is an artificial text node.

Please check the hierarchy infoobject which is used in your query in RSH1 t-code. Make sure it is active here.

Try to generate query in RSRT and run it here. If evrything is ok here, the your web analyzer also works fine.

    Regards,

    Suman

    Hi kunal,

0HIER_NODE is default node which was used in hierarchy structures.so please take BW Consultant help. he can resolve this issue.

Ask bw consultant to run source bex query at RSRT,

Along with above error, RFC error also there. regarding RFC error you can contact basis team.

    Hello Kunal,

Try activating the Info-object 0HIERNODE from Business Content (RSA1 -> BI CONTENT) and retest the issue.

    Regards

    Hi Kunal,

You are able to execute report successfully (but in regression system not in production), to confirm whether the issue with authorization,

    • Ask user to run the report in production and check in SU53 OR check the report execution via RSECADMIN in production with user's ID.
    • Then ask BW consultant to run the query in production and check whether it is successful.

If 1st check fails then it is something do with authorization. If other case fails then it is something do with master data, ask BW consultant to help.

    Thanks,

    Umashankar

    Hello

I checked the BI trace and the ST01 trace , but it did not show any missing auths. Also the BI team was able to run the report with the same values as the user is trying to enter.

I am waiting to here from the BASIS team if the problem is related to them .

    Hi,

Please check if the infoobject is in active mode or not. If not, please try to activate it and do the same. If you still face the issue again, try to reinstall it from business content tab as it's not the customized infoobject.

    with Regards,

    Antony Jerald.
