ERROR ME816 while releasing a PR

Hi Experts!

My client got ERRO ME816: Error in Method Initiate_Release while try to realese a Purchase Requisition. This happens with onle a Release Strategy for all the PR with this strategy and the document is generated wihout release indicator. I noticed in Customizing that this strategy does NOT have entries in table T16FK but this occurs only in PRD and Quality enviroment, the same strategy in DEvelopment strategy has entries in that table and the PRs can be generated correctly. I realised that in SPRO in "Realese Simulation" this strategy does not contain any value but this only in PRD and QAS in DEV is correctly filled and the error does not appear....So, what do you recommend me? Try to do again the customizing setting and transport again to QAS and PRD? it is seem that during the transport of the customizing setting this part was missed, I don t know why......or this could be fixed up by using a SAP note or a special program?

Dear Tiad,

You may need to re-transport the data in T16FK. This is due to transport problem that was done not correctly.

When you transport the T16FK, you need to make sure the target does not contain any value or BLANK, then

only the data from source will be transport correctly.

Alternatively, you may fill in T16FK manually via transaction SE16 if it only a few records and you have

the correct authorization to do so.
