fields are removed when changing the datasource location

Hi,

we use RAS to change the location of a xml datasource with

Me.m_RasDoc.DatabaseController.SetTableLocation ...

When a field is missing in the XML datasource, then the field is removed from report without a warning.

Is it possible to recognize that a field has been removed?

Hello Otto

If you enable the option "Verify on First Refresh", this may allow the report to adjust for the missing field. However, even if it does, the field header will not be removed, nor will there be any adjustment for the column. E.g.; you will end up with an empty space where the field used to be.
