keyfigure attribute problem

Hi everybody.

In webi reports, when i use material as dimension and gross weight as material attiribute, i can see the result values for these two fields, but when i add a new measure object next to those fiels in my report material attiribute values disappear and become null.

this problem occurs when attribute is keyfıgure like gross weight(0GROSS_WT),height(0HEIGHT) ..

its ok in analyzer. its only problem in universe designer and web int. report.

when you go into transaction RSRT and have the characteristic and the attribute and the measure in the rows, what is the resultset ?

Also based on the situation that the objects that you are showing in the Result Object panel are dimension objects, this does not look like an attribute.

Is this a direct connectivity to the BEx query or a XI 3.1 OLAP Universe in BI4 ?

in rsrt or ananyzer its no problem. i can see the values.

its olap universe in bo 4.0 sp 5.  (unv)

its not dimension,its attrubute. but i try converting to dimension. but it doesnt help.

Hello Kevin,

based on the fact that it shows as an actual Dimension object and not a Detail object in the Result Object, that somehow indicates that you changed the detail object into a dimension object in the Universe.

correct ?

it is orijinally detail object(display attribute for material) and i converted to dimension object.(i think maybe helps)

so; detail or dimension its null with a measure.

did you just change the object from a Detail Object to a dimension object or did you also change the object definition ?

could you trace the MDX of the Web Intelligence report ?

Hi George,

Are you getting this gross weight as display attribute and converting it to dimension at universe layer  or getting it as navigational attribute from cube.

What is the verison of BW and BO you are using?

Are you saying this just by looking at the Data preview mode or after execution; in the report table also it displays the same way?

Check the complete report (till the last page of report) and see if it is really not getting populated anywhere. Also try converting it to measure variable in webi and see if that helps.

What type of key figure it is though?.

Btw, Did you executed the query by removing all the rows or default charactristics and just displaying above 3 objects like in your first screen shot?(Not in Analyser).

Do you still see the data?.
