Cannot view Crystal Report from BI Launch Pad after publishing it to BI 4 Platform

Hi there.

I am experiencing issues when viewing a Crystal Report from BI Launch Pad or CMC after I have published it to BI 4 Platform.

Below is the error message I get.

The viewer could not process an event. An error occurred while creating a subprocess in the processing server. [RCIRAS0603]

---- Error code:0 [CRWEB00000119]

Anybody come across such an error?

If so, kindly share how you over came this problem.

By the way, I am running the following applications and using SAP HANA as my reporting database:

BI 4 Platform SP5 Patch 6

BI 4 Clients Tools SP5 Patch 6

Crystal Reports 2011 SP5 Patch 6

SAP HANA Revision 53

Hi Thatoyame,

Please refer KBA 1700830 - Installing And Configuring The HANA ODBC Driver On BI 4.0 Client Desktops And Server, as per the error message it seems that the server is unable to connect to the datasource. Make sure that you have both 32, 64 bit DSNs configured. CR2011 reports require 32 bit datasource however CR4E reports need 64 bit.
