How to get the Planning area set up for TPM created

Hi all,

I have been stuck for this issue in multiple areas. Can anyone help me out ASAP. I have created a TP under TPM in Web UI with all needed configs. Now when it comes to display Uplift values, it should be displaying in the Planning area layout in Web UI. Here, there are multiple things i need actually info about. Please find below details:

1) In planning area what all fields should be visible? I mean apart from Uplift labels, does Baseline details should be visible in this area?

2) In my TP view I am not able to See any values in the B area (attached screenshot). I have got it configured BSP and info cube in BW. To my understanding it should be visible through BW infocube! What are the settings for that in CRM.

3) The Highlighted B section in the attachment is comming from BI itself? then what are the key figures for mapping and from where it fetched data?

4) Is this planning section is completely display mode in CRM UI and all data populated in here is from BI BSP info cubes?

appreciate all your inputs!! its really urgent for me any feedback is helpful

Hi Suman,

                You can enhance your planning layout in BI through T-Code UPX_MNTN , like for example if you are using an APO Box the base line sales quanity in calculated and displayed in the layout using a function module. Other fields like uplift factor and all are mostly calculations the value of uplift factor mulitplied by your baseline quanutity will give you Uplift Quantity.

It depends upon your requirements you can hide or display fields in the layout.

Thanks Abhishek for Quick input. Also is the Uplift populates value in CRM itself according to the Baseline value? Is this done by a BI side or it should be maintained from CRM side itself?

Hi Suman,

                When you open the Layout using t-code UPX_MNTN, You will be able to see all the calculations which are done for the cooresponding field. You can also change it as per your need and requirement . You can hide a field, give your own calculations also you can keep it as manual entry which you can directly give in CRM UI.

The keyfigures available in a layout are statndard and its not necessary you use them all.

Uplift factor can also be given as a manual entry in CRM UI which will multiply with your base line sales quantity to give you you an uplift quantity.
