hi Siva,

Please check the result of ping, telnet which should be OK.

For Ping:  ping Server IP Address

For Telnet: telnet 192.168.0.xx 3200

if you get any issue then please pass/allow the port number in Firewall.

run the following command and share the result.

Run --> sapgui Server_IP_Address <Instance_No>

hi Sivanag,

Please tell me how can i pass/allow the port number in Firewall ?

Please try after disable the McAffe Antivirus. If it ran then you need to pass the port in McAfee Software.

"timed out".

please contact with Network guy. He will guide you about this issue. If you have no network guy then please let me know I will try to guide you.

hi Siva,

You are still facing same issue after disabled the McAfee antivirus.

Please go through the following links in which explain the same issue.

How do I open a port in McAfee Internet Security

did you make the entry of your IP and hostname in the host file?

Hi Jamil,

Thanks for the Information, i am able to connect now. i reinstalled the OS and removed the antivirus then the issue got solved. as per my understanding the issue is due to Mcafee antivirus(blocking the connections).

Thanks,

Siva

With regards to the above reported error "WSAEWOULDBLOCK Resource
temporarily unavailable":
This error is returned by the operating systems when non-blocking
sockets cannot be completed immediately - for example it can be
triggered when no data is queued to be read from the socket.
It is a nonfatal error, and the operation should be retried later.
It is normal for WSAEWOULDBLOCK to be reported as a result of trying to
connect to a nonblocking SOCK_STREAM socket, since some time must elapse
for the connection to be established.
In any case, seems to be caused by the configuration of your network,
be it a failure on the DNS server, a problem with the configuration of
your 'hosts' file on the workstations connecting to the server etc.
