Hi Eric,

Business Explorer is a tool part of the SAP GUI. So, you could search in the path that Vignest suggest looking for "Sap GUI" and get the desired version. Just download and extract the .zip file. It will be three or four installers.

I recommend to you to use the main installer, not just the Business Explorer installer so you could upgrade all the SAP Gui.

Hi Eric,

Please find the below detailed path to get the installer..

SAP Portal --> Software Downloads --> SAP Software Download Center --> Support Packages and Patches --> A - Z Index --> Click On "G" --> SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS --> SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS 7.20 CORE --> WIN 32 --> Select the required Version and download it....

As Néstor Martínez suggested go with main installer, if you want to go with specific installation of Business Explorer then Extract zip file and install "SapBiSetup.exe " only...

Thanks,

Raju

OK. Let me explain you.

You should download one of the links that your image shows. There are different version patches (corrections/fixes over the same version of the product). In your case, the SAP GUI 7.20. I think that the Patch level isn't important for you, so I recommend to download the latest one.

It is the file named: gui720_17-10007878.exe          SAP GUI for Windows 7.20 patch

Your main goal is to upgrade only the Business Explorer, but to achieve that you have to download the entire application. Once you've downloaded it,unzip the file and look for the file called: SapBiSetup.exe as Raj R. mentioned in the post right below.

SapBiSetup is the installer of the Business explorer 7.20 and ONLY it will be upgraded.

Hope it clarifies your doubts Eric,

Are you looking for it at Setup folder? Or doing a search for the entire folder which you extract with " *.exe " pattern?

Could you try it?

But Eric, it's not an issue to ask if you haven't been looking for it with the search engine of windows or joining in the few folders before

yes I have done it.

I have searched in SetUp( folder). Unfortunately I didn t see anything.

I search also with engine of Windows.

below you can see all what I have got in the SetUP Folder.

I  have also searched in another Folder

Sorry Eric, but I have to be sure.

Another option is: execute SapALL.exe, click on the few "Next" buttons and when that screen appears (app selection) select only Business Explorer.

I think doing that you will achieve what do you expect to get.

Hi Eric,

Use this Link: |http://service.sap.com/support

Download > Support Packages and Patches  > Support Packages and Patches by Application Group on the left navigation bar.

Click on the SAP Frontend Components link.

Click on the add on version that you need to install(say sp5 for bex).

Click on the Win32 link.

check the check box with the appropriate .exe file.

You should have appropriate authorization (credentials to download this using download manager)

Note: If you are receiving any problem ,try to uninstall sp3 and install sp5.

Follow the path:

@SAP support portal

-> @top menu select Software Downloads

-> then in the left menu select 'Support Packages and Patches'

-> A-Z Index

-> in the main screen select letter 'G'

-> then SAP GUI for windows

-> a window is refreshed in the link below the title "SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS" select SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS 7.20 CORE

-> then, below the title "SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS 7.20 CORE (SUPPORT PACKAGES AND PATCHES)"  select Win32

-> and finally download the latest (If no other Patch level is required)           gui720_17-10007878.exe          SAP GUI for Windows 7.20 patch           17          Info          148313          10.05.2013
