Product block for only sales

                     Kindly advise me the detailed customization of the blocking a product for sales transactions however the product must be available for the service transactions.

Dear Jens,

                           I am a learner, now practicing on IDES, now my requirement is to block the one specific product for sales and should be available for the service

EX: While creating any sales transactions (lead, oppt, Quote, SO) it should not show however whenever i create a service transaction (Complaint, in house repair, service contract) for service transaction product should not be blocked.

Dear Owe.

        Le me explain you a scenario, we had a product in 2010 now that product has been discontinued, so i dont want that product to be displayed so i blocked it so i am unable to see any in sales and service

Now my requirement that product must available for service transactions for creating complaint and service contracts.
