Hi,
Iam facing this issue when running the DTP after the infopackage load below errors in detail
Errors:
Morethan one text specified for hierarchy header for language EN
Error occured in herarchy
Error in substep
Data Package processing terminated
Please suggest me on this?
Hello,
See below SAP explanation on this issue:
"The rules connected to the hierarchy description segment create multiple records for this header segment, for the language EN.
The source [in my case it was ADSO] contains 83 records specified for language E. The above mentioned transformation loads all these records to the hierarchy description segment.
This segment must contain only 1 record.
To resolve the problem please remodel the transformation, in such way that the hierarchy description segment contains only 1 record for each language, and hierarchy combination.
If the source always provides a single hierarchy, which has the same name and description in a single language, then one option is to use constant rules in this segment.
If there are multiple hierarchy and language combinations, then the best approach is to use the endroutine to fill this segment dynamically."
So to sum up - in the description segment set the language as constant value - as an example E - and remove mappings for short/medium/long descriptions.
Hope that helps!
Best, Damian

Hi Ram,
Did you got the resolution for your issue? I am also facing same issue with dtp as msg as "More than one text specified for hierarchy header for language EN". If you got the solution then share with us.
Thanks

Check your psa. If you are loading single hierarchy then delete earlier loads which do not have datamart set i.e not laoded to target.
If you are having multiple loads with different hierarchies to be loaded. In delta mode select "Get all new data request by request" in extraction tab also check "activate hierarchy" in update tab. This may solve the issue.
Hi All,
You have to delete the old requests in PSA and load the FULL dtp again..It will solve the issue...
It worked for me..
Or
you can change the selections in the in DTP with only retrieve last req option if it is FULL
you can change the selections in the in DTP with Get all new data req by req option if it is delta.
Regards,
Hi,
I'm not getting the error by deleting the hierarchy from the InfoObj before running the DTP.
DTP is in Full with flag on "Only retrieve last request".
In the end I see the error is not with the data from the source having multiple requests in the PSA, but with the existing content in the target.
Hope this helps and let me know if you are experiencing different scenarios.
Cheers.
Giuseppe

Hi All,
Can you please help here, i have the same issue where multiple hierarchies when loaded from PSA via full DTP without selecting the option "Only Retrieve Last request" gives the same error.
The same when loaded after selecting the checkbox, loads successfully. But in this case we have many hierachies to be loaded, so executing the DTP each time per hierarchy does not seems to be an appropraite option.
Delta DTP is also not working.
Would appreciate your help.

Bhakti

HI ram,
try removing 'alpha conversion' for info object for which you are loading hierarchy.(keep it blank)
It can work

Hi Ram,
I had the same issue and created the ticket with SAP . But it seems you are loading from
Data source . It loaded me fine with out issues. I have the same error when loading from
DSO to Hierarchy. I spent lot of time to fix this issue ..no luck .. Please update if you find the
solution.
I will also update if i resolve the issue.
Thanks

In the source of the hierarchy and/or in the transformation, find out why there is more than one entry for the given language. If the language is equal to ' ', that is initial, the language field is not correctly filled in the transformation.

Hi RN,
Please share your hier str screen shot. seems like there is text which was maintained multiple times on hier str. In hierarchy str maintaining same text in multiple times may not be allowed.
Thanks

Hello Ram, what type of Hierarchy you are working on , is it a flat file hierarchy? In The Hierarchy, please check if the node name is repeated or not, this type of issue comes when 1. there are same node description for both Parent and Child. 2. ALl the Hierarchy Columns are not provided while loading. Check Sequence: Node ID,INFOOBJECT,NODENAME,LINK,PARENT,CHILD,NEXT,DATETO,DATEFROM,LANGU,SDESCRIPTION,MDESCRIPTION,LDESCRIPTION. Regards, Abhi
