Derived Roles keep getting overwritten

Guys

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong I am creating a Master / Derived role. I create a new Master Role "Storeuser" I add the tcodes leave everything unmaintained save and Generate it,  create a new role "Storeuser_US"    derived from "Storeuser" I go and maintain the org levels Plant, Sites. Company codes, save and generate it.  now if I add another tcode to the Master role and adjust derived role it over writes all the Plants, Sites and Company Codes?

Thanks

Mike

After adding a tcode to the master role, tell it to generate derived roles from within the profile generator. If you do it that way, it will not interfere with the org values.

Choose this option when generating the profile on the master role. I tested this out in our sandbox environment by creating a new master role with IW32, creating the derived role, then adding IW31 to the master role and generating derived roles.

Interesting scenario, once you are done updating the derived role can you verify in AGR_1252 and then only proceed with push from master or copy data in child.

And does your maser role has Org level updated ? Thou it should only impact if you leave them blank in derived roles.

Cheers !!

For my example, I did not modify the org values in the parent role.
