Reverting the SAP component ST-A/PI

Hi,

I am facing a problem while installing add-on component ST-A/PI. I tried installing a wrong component version 01Q_731 instead of 01Q_700. Now when i tried to install the correct one(01Q_700), its not allowing to proceed further as the add-on component is showing in the saint add-on status menu. but, its not in the system status menu. Hence am not able to install the right component.

Is there any option to revert it back to reistall the component?

or I have to reinstall the whole system. I think it will not be the solution to add a single component.

Hi Pandiyaraj,

If the queue is not confirmed yet do the following:

SAINT -> Utilities - Dissamble OCS package

Goto -> SPAM to go to EXTRAS -> RESET STATUS-> QUEUE

If this does not work refer to program below

Go to se37 -> ocs_reset_queue

Refer link http://itsiti.com/reset-sap-spam-saint-queue

Go to SPAM and delete from queue.

Few clarifications required.

Reverting the SAP component ST-A/PI

This means that you already installed the version 01Q_731 and you want to go abck to 01Q_700

I tried installing a wrong component version 01Q_731 instead of 01Q_700

This means that you were unable to install this version

What is the error you get when you try to install the right version ?

Lastly read this SAP Note. If you are able to help yourself with this note then please do it, else come back with the complete information.

Note 69455 - Servicetools for Applications ST-A/PI (ST14, RTCCTOOL, ST12)

If you have already installed the incorrect version (still wondering whether the application will let you do it) then I dont think it is possible to uninstall it.

In any case raise an OSS message for some assistance.

Thanks for a support. I done all the steps given in the previous answers. But no luck. Finally I have raised a OSS message to SAP and they have fixed it.

As 01Q_731 has dependency on SAP_BASIS 731 and 01Q_700 on sap_basis 700.

As you mention that you tried inst of 01Q_731 first .

How your sysetm allow this?

I think you have not deleted the old queue, Check the queue once.

What is the error message you are getting..?
