Standard BW Roles

HI All,

Please somebody can help me to identify the SAP BW standard roles & Authorizations, except SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW for developer.

My Security team is facing lot off issues and i am also not able install the Business content objects due to lack of authorizations.

Please help me , if there is any developer related roles are existed ? or relevant roles are existed ?

Prakash, SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW will not be the solution, developers should not have it and it won't cover your 0BI_ALL needs as well.

I would recommend pursuing your security team to get the authorization in place for you rather than SAP_ALL (non traditional escape routes).

Look at the SAP standard role SAP_BW_DEVELOPER use this role as a template to design role for BW develolper by adding authorization or restrictions based on the requirement.

I'm using BW 7.31 but I dont find SAP standar role SAP_BW_DEVELOPER. Can you please let me know how activate or find it ?

Hello Prakash,

Check these roles:

SAP_BW_ALL

SAP_BW_DEVELOPER

And any other roles like SAP_BW_*

I got all standard roles, There are 500+ standard BW roles.

PFCG-> with SAP_BW* , it will give all list.
