Business partner updation.

Dear Friends,

I have an issue with Business partner existence in CRM. Customer is existing in R/3 but the same customer doe's not exist in CRM. There are transactions with the same business partner. we have no information about the Business partner deletion in CRM.

Now we have to retain the Business parter with the same customer number as in R/3. Please let me know what are the steps I need to follow to bring back the Business parter with the old BP number.

Please suggest.

with regards,

    Please confirm if it's right.

    1. You have a customer in R3 with ID example 0000001
    2. You have an account in CRM with ID 00000001 but this account is different than your customer.
    3. You want to synchronize customer in R3 with the account in CRM, in order to have the customer in both system with same ID.

If it's true, what you want to do with account in CRM with the same ID?

      Dear Dayananda,

It depends on how you have the accounts group between CRM & ECC. For me it's not clear how this BP is no longer in CRM. Why aren't you able to find that BP over the tables.

There is also important to understand what is the link between ECC account & CRM account. Both are synchronized by GUID not by BP ID There are some tables in CRM & ECC that maintain this link.

Example: CRMM_BUT_CUSTNO in CRM and CRMKUNNR in ECC.

You can apply the request massively if you want, but you need to understand first how the synchronization between system works.
