Tcode- PFAL(HR ALE distribution): missing some HRP1001 segment in background run

Hello,

When I run tcode PFAL in foreground to distribute Org unit in insert mode. Then Idoc is generated correctly. But when I run the same in background mode(with menu->program->execute in background) then also idoc is generated but some HRP1001 data( like A002, B003) segments are missing.

Please share your experience to correct this.

Sudhir,

It should work the same in both background and foreground.

1. Please check if the org elements have the relationship data in them. It will only send the data if it exists.

2. If the data exists check if you have any data filters defined in Distribution model(BD64).

Hi Varun,

Yes data is available and also no such check present in BD64. As segments are being generated in foreground, so it should be generated in background, which is not happening.

Which message type are you using? HRMD_A or HRMD_ABA?

I am using HRMD_A (which is also uneditable field in selection screen of PFAL).

It depends on how your distribution models is defined in your system. I have never seen or heard anything like this before. Have you isolated the Org element which does not have org element and tried to run the PFAL online? This might be one of the relations that is not supposed to go(not in validity dates from selection screen? Guessing here).
