MATMAS05 XSD structure

Hello Experts,

I want the structure of standard IDOC MATMAS05 XSD. How to get it from service market place?

Is there any way where the IDOC structure can be extracted from ECC and converted into a XSD?

Hello,

The XSD for material IDoc can be obtained from PI as well as Service Marketplace.

To download the business content, an SMP Login would be required. and your S User Id should have authorization for the same.

The easier option is download Altova, get the XML from ECC, T-Code: WE60, and convert to XSD, using Altova.

You can download the XSDs from Service marketplace by downloading the business content.

You need to extract the content and then use the packages provided in the content.

If you need to know the process for downloading the content from service marketplace, then you can refer the documents published by Tarun Sharma in this very forum. I hope this should solve your problem.

Hi Thamiz,

If you have PI system as middleware, then XSD can be easily obtained from PI system. If IDoc structure can be transferred to PI from ECC, then xsd for same can be extracted from PI. But if there's no PI connected then there are tools available that can create xsd from xml file generated out of ECC system. I wonder if you would be able to get xsd for MATMAS05 IDOC from service market.
