Dear SAP Expert,
We have requirement to setup ABAP proxy inbound in SAP PI.
The detail are PI would trigger proxy that posting to SAP ECC, after receive file from external system.
We have successfully setup proxy from SAP ECC to SAP PI but we need reverse connection.
Please advice.
Thanks and Regards
Yansen
Hi Yasen,
So your scenario will be File(External System) -> PI -> Proxy(ECC). In this case you need to create all IR/ESR objects and create a Proxy(Server Proxy) in ECC for "Inbound interface"(which you created in IR/ESR). If you create proxy for Outbound interface, it will work as sender proxy. In your case no need of creating proxy for Outbound interface.
And for the same you need to create "file" sender channel and "Soap with XI protocol" receiver channel in case you are using AEE.
Once your file get picked from Third party system(External system), Proxy will automatically gets triggered from PI to ECC.
Hope, you are clear with this.

So you need a client proxy to initiate a transfer from ECC to PI? In this case you need to create a sender communication channel in the PI Integration Builder with message protocol XI3.0.
If you want to choose your existing PI -> ECC Proxy connection to send data back you just need to define the used interface as synchronous (request/ response).

Hi,
Reverse means you want to implement proxy to File?
Find the below links for the sample proxy scenarios
