Remove Reservation from TD Shipment Error

Hi Experts,

I have an issue where the inbound shipment is in status 6 and user found that double posting was done for a particular material.

Hence, I have advised user to perform the following:

1. Cancel material document using TCODE MBST.

2. Remove reservation from TD shipment.

Step 1 was performed succesfully.

However, system do not allow to perform step 2, with error message "Reservation XXX (status 6) cannot be deleted"

From the shipment, I see that the TD shipment is status 5.

Please advise on how to complete the shipment.

Hello HJMY,

You have taken wrong steps to resolve this issue.

Since Material movement document was posted using Delivery Confirmation, you should have reversed this Material movement document using below steps. Using MBST to reverse these kind of documents, which are posted using TD shipment will make TD shipment doc flow inconsistant.

Steps

1) Reverse Delivery Conf using O4H1and then select Reversal only option. This will change Shipment status to 4.

2) Once step 1 is done then using O4F2, get into change mode of shipment and then delete reservation document from document tab and then Hit " Red White circle button" to activate this shipment.

3) Then Goto transaction MB22 and delete Reservation from there.
