user credentials for UK efiling

Hi All,

For efiling in UK, we maintain user credentials in table t5gefcredentials or in through IMG->PM->PA->payroll data-> efiling GB-> maintain user credentials.

This user ID is mostly a combinaiton of alphanumerics. Is there any criteria that needs to be followed to maintain this user ID? I came to know that HMRC provides user ID only in numerics. In SAP, what criteria is followed to maintain the user ID in alphanumerics?. Also password is compulsory to maintain?

Please can you explain more on this?

Thanks and Regards

Latha

    Hi Latha

SAP should accomodate the credentials that HMRC provide to employers - depending on the format decided by HMRC

I believe a username and password is mandatory for productive efiling

    Best wishes

As well as checking the credentials are relevant for the tax reference - I would also check with HMRC which credentials you should use for your tax reference - mentioning also that you currently have different credentials in your SAP system which worked in the past - and that these now seem to be different - could these have been changed since previous efiling ? - perhaps HMRC changed them or perhaps someone in your organization changed them
