SAP BI /BW or SAP BO

I don't know much about SAP  BO.

Currently i am using BW at user end.i am planning to do SAP BO

can you kindly Suggest which one is Better

Hi,

• BW is a data warehousing strategy . with BEx front end.
• BO is a reporting solution . it offers other analytical and reporting options to an enterprise .

they are complementary, not  replacements.

Hi,

it depends entirely on your use-cases, and your company's strategy . I cannot decide for you.

do search the scn with keywords "choosing right tool BI"  and see how many times this has been asked and answered before.

Hi

BW is a data warehousing strategy.

BO is reporting solution.

Presently i am working as BO concent it is easy to work on BO palform with  a person having BI knowlege.

SAP BI 4.0 (Earlier it was SAP BusinessObjects) is a Data Mining Strategy

SAP BI 4.0 is used as Total Analytic & Reporting Solution.
