    Hi,

Along with Raman's suggestions, I would like to add some more.

    1) The major cause for long running data loads could be existing Indexes on your Cube

    2) You should always drop all the indices before you upload from DSO to Cube

    3) After loading to Cube, you need to rebuild the indexes to improve Query performance

This improves data load performance incredibly.

    Regards,

    Suman

    Hi surya,

Any loads you can observe thru job log details. at RSA1, respective cube--> right click--> manage--> request tab, there you can see monitor, there also you can see details or at SM37 , respective enter job name, status as active, user id*, once you entered, select your job and click on job log details.

check each and every data packet how its processing.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Based on PID you can also check the runtime in SM50.

For that you need to get the PID from sm37 double click on your job and select job Details tab.

    copy

    WP number/PID 40 / 14483,476

Start search using PID i,e 14483,476 remove the comma and search.

Here you will get all kind of details.

Note: Sometimes jobs take long time to delete in SM37. To delete the job in a faster way just do the same as above i,e get the PID and select the job in sm50 based on PID Go to process on top-->Select Cancel without core.

    Thanks

    Hi Surya,

    Adding to the above...

data load may take time when there are any routines written ... try to debug and fine tune the code ...

You can track where the Process is taking time with the help of PID. this you can get from the job details in SM37. with the help of PID you can track the process where its being delayed.

    Regards
