Size/length of ODataModel Collection

Hi,

how can I determine the size/length of my ODataModel Collection?

Here is what I do:

• Bind ODataModel Collection to sap.m.List.bindAggregation
• Display items in sap.m.List

In my opinion, there are two way to get the size/length:

1. Get the length from sap.m.List.getItems to get rendered items count
2. Get the length from ODataModel

Can somebody give me an example for 1.) and 2.)? I tried a lot, but by now with no success...
