Hi all,
We are in SAP ERP upgrade project "R3 4.7 to ECC 6" and checking, adjusting the operation with our BW system (BW 7.01)
In the first system upgraded, we discover some Logistic extract structure changed (2LIS_12_VCITM, 2LIS_13_VDITM, 2LIS_02_SCL)
It comes from new structure provided by SAP.
But in specific cases, the enhancement previously made are conflicting the new structure : filed in append structure is redundant to field in standard structure. The global structure is inactive and can't be activated. It relate to note 766603 and 623411 for the observation.
Example :
Sub-Structure MC02M_3SCL contains now fields BANFN and BNFPO
Our append structure ZZMC02M_3SCL contains historically also fields BANFN and BNFPO
So the two structures are inactive, and the include MC02M_3SCL in main structure MC02M_0SCL don't exist.
Technically, we can remove manually the redundant fields from our Append structure and activate the structures
But doing so, it appears it is not the right way : we get an error within LO Cockpit - Maintaining structure when we try to add a new field and save for example.
Error : End Phase nnn **********************************
I can't find the real way to remove the two fields derived from our previous enhancement
In "Maintaining Structure" in LO Cockpit (LBWE), these additional fields don't appears as enhancement (but only as standard field, blue color) and can't be removed from
Do you have any idea about this issue or experience this case.
Thank you very much for help
Regards,
Eric
Hi,
Whenever any major upgrade from older version to newer version happens, all the structures in your source system are very likely to be effected. You are forced to activate all your Datasources manually. This will lead to disturb all your Outbound Queues and Delta Queues also.
In your scenario, you are left out to activate your structures manually. You have to trouble shoot your errors which arise.
Go to RSA2 or RSA6, Select your extract structure and do your omitting -->Activate the extract Structure
Follow this doc:
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-11435
Try to activate one datasource first by overcoming the obstacles. With that you can activate all datasources.

Suman
