Hi All,
When I am trying to create a new Contract, Contract Document Templates are not showing up. Can anybody guide me how to activate the template list while contract creation process?
Thanks,
Saloni
Hi Saloni
2 things, can you check, if you have the security profile Contract Administrator
If yes, then from the Access Rights drop down, select ->Document Management->Document Security Templates -> Set it to Allow and login log-off and re-check.
this happened to me once and I was able to fix it
Incase you cant change this with your user credentials, use the enterprise user, or someone with system admin rights
Hope this works
Cheers

Hi Tridip,
We have "Contract Manager" Security Profile. I made the settings as mentioned in your post, but still it didnt work.
If I check the query "FCI-ApprovedContractDocumentTemplates" from Setup-->Query Group, Query results are not getting displayed. I checked with Basis team and they said its not database issue as well.
Not able to figure out the problem, please guide me.
Thanks,
Saloni
Hi Saloni,
I can see in my system that contract document templates are associated with company and business unit . I am on sourcing 9 , not sure if it same on sourcing 5.0 . Just add the same company or business unit which would get visible on header page of contract document template to your user, by going to My settings and re login . Give a try and let us know.
Thanks
Uday
Hi Saloni,
Usually this is because the Contract Document Template is NOT in an Approved status. Can you check it and see if it is approved? If it is not, you should change the status to Approved and then it should show up. The Clauses and Sections that make up the Template will also have to be in an Approved status.
Hope this helps,
Rosemary

Hi Rosemary,
I goto Setup-->Document Setup-->Contract Generation-->Contract Document Template Library.
All Contract Document Templates are displayed. The "Phase" values for all contract templates is Approved status.
When I goto any particular Contract template and goto Sections Tab, the section is also in Approved status. And when I go within Section and check the clauses tab, the clause is also approved.
Thanks,
Saloni
Hi,
When you are in the approved template, are you able to generate a contract document from there via Actions > Create Contract? If not, then you should probably open up a OSS message because there is no such setting which allows Contract document creation via template. As Rosemary pointed out, any Template should be visible during contract generation as long as it is in Approved phase.
Thanks,
Vikram
