Hi Experts

when the report is executed we get the results in excel sheet1 and we have more sheet2 and sheet3 blank. now if i want to get a new query in sheet2 from the different cube, is it possible?

i mean in <b>sheet1</b> i am executing a query from CUSTOMER CUBE and in <b>sheet2</b> i want a query to be executed from DELIVERY CUBE. (without using RRI). can anyone please help me with answer. Thanks

Hi Kanth,

Yes..It is possible. For that you would need to create a workbook. Go to sheet 2 -> Tools(from menu) -> Insert Query. Ater selecting the query and executing it. Save the excel files as workbook.

hello dinesh your answer is almost correct. but the way i did is a bit different (i suppose). i just executed a query then i went into the sheet2, menu> Business Explorer>Tools-->insert query. saved as workbook.it worked out. Thanks

Hello kanth,

i know this method, but if you have for each sheet a variable . When query is executed, first varaible appeared (normal) but, for the second sheet:

if the variable is the same ?? is it known automatically in second sheet (then did't appear)or is it repeated??

if the variable is different??

the objectif is to recuperate the variable in second sheet in make a calcul.

example:

enter date mmyyyy in 1 sheet (name Y) put at screen "DATE: $Y$"

recuperate date in 2 sheet in create a formula with X = Month(Y) in put at screen "MONTH: $X$"
