Connection Error in PDF file with embedded Xcelsius 2008 Dashboard

Hello Guys,

I have a question here.

I get a data connection error (#2148) when my dashboard tries to access the XML files which hold the data.

I think the problem ist that the location (File URL) is temporary though the pdf file itself is located in the same folder as the XML file.

Moreover the location of the swf file has to be trusted but I can´t do that because of the generated location

Is there a setting or anything similar where I can change that?

Best Regards Mark

I imagine that your XML Data URL is a relative URL (QtrCumulativeKPIStatus.xml) and not absolute (www.website.com/QtrCumulativeKPIStatus.xml)?

If so, then change to an absolute URL and it should fix the problem.

    Hi Mark,

Remove "file://" from the url in XML Maps connection in the Manage Connections.

    For sure it will work.

Let me know if you face any issues.
