Hello Guru:
I would like to display master contract (CLM) that other user created. Currently I have to go to each user to add me in collaborative tab.
Is there other simple way like super user just to view / display contract of others.
Hi Mandy,
In the Master Agreement list drop there is Search Master Agreements view available.
In this Search Option, you need to Select the filter - Agreement Manager from the dropdown and add '*' to find all the Master Agreement with All Agreement Managers.
Run this Search and Save it with a name as shown below. This way you can run the saved Search each time you would like to see the Master Agreements and their respective owners which equates to Agreement Manager.
See screen print below.
I hope this helps in what you are looking for.

Ok, got it.
Yes there is way to add your user id as a collaborator to all the master agreements in the system. You will have to do it using an import workbook.
First you need to export the list of master agreement id's that you need to be a collaborator on and then populate the import workbook with those master agreement id in the UNIQUE_DOC_NAME column and populate your user id in the column - COLLABORATOR_1. Once you have the workbook created, you need to import the workbook into the Master Agreement object using the Import utility in the tool
Hope this helps.

would u please let me know how to export and import.
Currently, I just list the master agreement list and click excel button.
My excel sheet has the following column :
Master Agreement ID | Number of Subagreements | Master Agreement Name | Supplier Name | Status | Product Category | Organizational Unit | Effective Date | Renewal Reminder Date | Expiration Date | Agreement Manager |
So how to add my user id in collaborator_1 ?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Mandy,
You did the right thing for exporting the list of master agreements by clicking on the excel button. The first column in that sheet contains the list of master agreement ids. Copy the list of MA ID's into a new sheet and name the column header as 'UNIQUE_DOC_NAME'. Add one more new column named 'COLLABORATOR_1'.
Populate your user id in the 'COLLABORATOR_1' column for the MA ID's.
I am not sure what role you have been assigned in the CLM application. If you have the correct access rights, you should the import utility on the Set up --> System Administration --> Import and Export tools.
Under which you need to click on Import data. Click on "New"
Upload file to server --> upload the file you created --> Select Object type as Master Agreement and check preview import and click on "next" button until the import is completed.
After successful import, the MA ID's should be updated with your id as collaborator.

Hi Martha,
First I have a request. Please submit your questions as a new discussion (create --> discussion) asking a question as a response to someone else's post is not proper procedure. Thanks.
in regard to the question, a Master Agreement is an internally collaborated document. Hence no outside (external/sellside) collaborators. The Vendor and Vendor Contact attached to Master Agreement will have access to view summary info of the Master agreement and the contract doument attached to a Master Agreement for potential internal/external collaboration through the check in/check out feature in CLM.
Regards,
Gary
